In my humble opinion - best Indian movie of 2010.

You might not make the same decisions taken by the characters in a story, or you may not be living the lifestyle as they do, If the filmmakers show it in a convincing way probably you wouldn't even think of what you would have done in the same situation. I feel Do Dooni Chaar lacks the convincing power completely. So I failed to understand each and every decision made by the characters in the movie, which was pretty frustrating. Giving it 2 stars coz of excellent acting by Rishi Kapoor.

Kapoor's portrayal of a maths teacher is simply brilliant.

Delightful and entertaining movie that illustrates the increasing consumerism and "keeping up with the Jones'" culture in North India. Rishi Kapoor and his middle class family must make outlandish purchases in order to maintain their dignity and respect within their society, their extended family, and even amongst themselves. Hilarious, refreshing movie with really good performances, especially that of the son.
