This pleasurable documentary is jammed packed with images from magazines, photoshoots and newsreels of a life well lived, but also lots of historical footage of the life Vreeland imagined she had too.

Diana Vreeland was perhaps the coolest person to ever walk planet Earth. I've watched this documentary 3 times and in addition to DV being a fascinating subject, this is really wonderful film making. "The Eye Has To Travel" is great.
