Diana vreeland - a philosopher of appearance, a comic of control, a visionary of evolution. This film chronicles the life of the fashionista through her memoirs, drawing on the upbringing and life experiences that shaped her ideals and influenced her career. The documentary portrays a hard, creative, storyteller with little time for family outside creating. Diana's candid philosophies are filled with fantasy - making her charismatic, yet strangely unwelcoming. A solid documentary, but not exactly my cup of content.

Loved every minute of this film! A glorious tribute to the life and legacy of Mrs. Vreeland and the filmmakers did an equally amazing job with the editing and look of the movie. A must see for anyone in the fashion industry, or who loves docs!

We suspect that in her imperious voice, Vreeland would say she was mad about it, and she'd mean it as a measure of praise.
