Un fin en Tepoz como cualquier otro con la excepcion de que los anfitriones son hijos de un politico corrupto. Gael quizo reflejar la decadencia o el vacio de la clase politica Mexicana mostrando o exhibiendo el comportamiento de los hijos de estos. Los chicos son ambiciosos pero al mismo tiempo no enfrentan sus responsabilidades. El protagonista prefiere decir que no quiere ir a Harvard porque su padre es un corrupto a enfrentar el hecho de que fue rechazado. El personaje de Camila Sodi es algo pobre aunque ella luce bellisima. Predecible y sosa es la moraleja acerca de las drogas. La introduccion de esta familia que cuida la casa haciendo alusion a "la otra clase" realmente carece de discurso. En lo que respecta a la calidad de la pelicula se pueden mencionar dos cosas que son: la edicion que fue MUY POBRE y una fotografia sumamente oscura que para ser Tepoz se esperaban mucha mas luminosidad, tal vez un paso de la claridad a la oscuridad como resulto ser la trama. Muy pobre en verdad, muy pobre.

People didn't like this movie as much as I enjoyed, I believe you need to unserstand how Mexican society is structrured and how it works so you can enjoy this great film. For a debut for Gael as a director is a masterpiece, he knows how to make actors give a certain performance, he is a promise for Mexican cinema!

I was impressed, had its shortcomings but I thought he handled the direction pretty well. It put me in mind of dazed and confused and while it didn't match it, it was amiable enough to watch
