Like Diogenes with his lamp, director Yoav Shamir goes in search of anti-Semitism. This film goes further than any ever made in demonstrating that the Holocaust has been used cynically to justify Israeli expansionism and brutality.

What makes an important film-maker? someone who asks questions others dare not utter. in this sense this film explores questions that are on most peoples mind but dare not ask. Jews the world over are incredibly powerful, and more power to them, in which case it begs the question, where is the anti-semitism thats rife and out to create another holocaust? in the words of a contributor 'Jews have never had it so good'. they place too much importance and attention on themselves, always believing themselves to be the victims in every incident, to the detriment of everyone else.highly recommended, unless you're a Zionist, in which case this brief review makes me an anti-semite.

A fantastic documentary from an Israeli filmmaker about anti-Semitism in the world today that challenged a lot of beliefs that I take for granted. It takes a critical look at what anti-Semitism is now and whether, as a belief, if anti-Semitism is important at all. I don't agree with some arguments that are made in the film, and I certainly don't agree with certain interviewees, but I can understand their points now, even if I think they're wrong. If you're willing to sit through it (and I have to admit, a few times I turned it off because I couldn't stand to hear what was being said), it is incredibly thought provoking.

While he takes an evenhanded approach, the filmmaker appears on camera far too often and goes off point as frequently as Moore.
