Deathsport (1978)

1000 years into the future, after the Great Neutron Wars, the world is divided into desert wastelands and isolated city-states. Notorious "Desert Ranger" Kaz is forced to fight in the DeathSport, dueling on futuristic motorcycle "Death Machines". It's so shit, but it's so entertaining. Despite the fact that it's a sci-fi film that stars David Carradine and has "Death" in the title, it's not related to Death Race 2000 at all, even if the back of the dvd cover says it is. But it's just as cheesy (some say, even cheesier) than that film and that makes this an entertaining movie. It wouldn't be hugely surprising if you find this film on Movies 4 Men or Syfy.

Terrible...much lesser film than Death Race 2000...that weird fucking scene with the naked chick and her getting electrocuted. what the fuck?

Lousy continuation of Death Race 2000 has David Carradine returning also with Claudia Jennings in one of her final screen appearances. After Carradine escapes the government in the first film, agents are out looking for him on motorcycles with blaster guns that make people disappear, fancy! Not to mention the ridiculous fiberglass swords, lame! Poor Claudia Jennings.

"On a night such as this, the mutants will be out." If Barry Gibb played Luke Skywalker, you might have an idea of what David Carradine was doing in this film. I sure don't. Awesomely terrible music, terrible acting, gobs of 70s nudity, a goofy story, and more explosions than a Michael Bay film, Deathsport has what you're looking for in a B movie. There's a bunch of silly philosophical musings by the glass sword wielding warriors, while motorcycles fly buy accompanied by some of the most aggressively bad sound effects I've heard (how about all those Star Wars sound effects?). Roger Corman produces more strange science fiction from the 70s, man. Great stuff.
