This was one of the most terrible movies I've ever seen.

If you're a fan of 80's style haunted house type horror, but with a modern twist I highly recommend "Darkness Rising". Acting, FX and sound design are all above what's typical for an indie horror film. A very impressive and scary film, rad to see Ted Raimi make an appearance as well!

While there's no reason to hate this effort, I can't say there's any reason to like it, either.

Excellent movie. Lots of scare factor. Really well made. Thoroughly enjoyed the direction by Mr Reading.

Five stars for five people. Very extensive vocabulary; they definitely know more than the f-word. No need to mute it at all. Very fast paced. Very original. Very unpredictable. Very much blood and gore. "Beautiful blood."
