Masterpiece. The perfect envisioning of a nightmarish mystery. Nothing like it before. Nothing like it after.... No, not even the head bludgeoningly allegoric 'Knowing'.

A great, underrated film that is overshadowed by the success of "The Matrix," "Dark City" is visually stunning and very philosophical. It's almost like watching a modern take on Plato's "Allegory of the Cave." Five out of five stars.
