Really thrilling from start all the way to finish. Some of the CGI doesn't hold up very well, but the whole thing is wonderfully designed. I really love this one.

I loved the original version. The director's cut is even better. So stylish, so moody, and now the build-up and pacing have been reworked so that it works better as a narrative and mystery. Really, really excellent.

This is a great noir film. Viewers are challenged to accept the world around them or seek out 'Shell Beach' and question everything at the expense of being ostracized or possibly killed. Performances deserving of oscar nods. A great film worthy of every serious film collection. Director's cut more mysterious and subtle than original - well worth it.
