Not what I expected but in a phenomenal way. Towards the end it took a departure from the expected and became so real and brutally honest. The guy from friday night lights blew me away...it gave me goosebumps.

A "daring," well-made film that takes an unbridled look at three teens' attempts to break out of their respective molds, boosted by the three leads' praise-worthy, restrained performances.

I think this film worked better as short that the feature length feature had originated from. The film tries to present a very in depth look at sexual frustration and confusion but all it's character's and story its self are rather shallow. Zach Gilford seem to be the only one who gives a worthy performance. Although the awkward chemistry between him and Ashley Springer seem to work rather well in the pool scenes. And the ending, there was nothing ambiguous about it was just poorly written. The short that is the DVD featureettes was really good. The plot works as a short it should just remained one.

Weird, and likely better served as a television series - wherein all of this could be better developed - than a feature film. I really have no idea what it was attempting to say (or really be about), but Gilford is a talent and certainly not hard on the eyes.

This teen drama centers on a trio of lost souls united briefly by sexual experimentation prior to graduating high school. No one really knows who they are, where they belong or where they are going, but then again, who does? Each uses sex for their own gain. One hopes to find inspiration, one to find a familiar touch and the other a connection based in trust and love. All fool themselves while trying to climb that wall of self actualization, and in order to learn life's lessons through their momentary bond, that wall must crumble.
