Dans la vie (2007)

Elie is at a loss. His mother, Esther, is ill and needs constant assistance but doesn't like any of the carers that come forward. Seeing his distress, the nurse Sélima proposes the services of her mother, Halima, a practising Muslim. Against all the odds, the two women become firm friends.

Un film que personne n'ira voir. Philippe Faucon fait du cine tellement interessant qu'un ami a moi est meme alle lui poser des questions a la fin d'une seance de son precedent "La Trahison", presente a l'Arlequin. Dans le 6eme arrondissement. C'est dire.

Un film tres touchant. A voir absolument. The film is set in Paris and is using non-professional actors. A delightful friendship develops between 2 women, a Muslim and a Jewish, both of Algerian origin . Warm everyday moments and extraordinary triumph despite the highly charged confrontations.
