In 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, a young grifter named Estella is determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella's flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute. But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.

Whereas most Disney remakes have been limited by a lack of originality, both in terms of script and character development, Cruella emerges as a much-needed act of rebellion, with the titular character donning an identity invested with true meaning. Needless to say, Cruella is the future.

Amazing! I absolutely loved the cruelle movie Emma stone and all secondary characters were phenomenal the movie has lots of twists and keeps your attention the entire time

I've been reading the negative reviews without getting much explanation as to why. Wonder if they're bots. As to the movie, I forgot I was watching a Disney movie and enjoyed the progression as it went on. the beginning started slow, but eventually, the more you delved into the character the more affiliation you developed with her. This isn't a prequel but a reimagining of the origin story of 101 dalmatians, that being said great acting, great timepieces, and enjoyable all around.

"Cruella" confounds expectations in mostly delightful ways, particularly for what amounts to a supervillain origin-story prequel inspired by a 60-year-old animated movie. Credit much of that to a twin dose of Emma power -- as in Stone and Thompson -- in a movie that might owe its life to "101 Dalmatians," but which centers around a tasty cat fight.

I loved it and i actually enjoyed it more than the original Cruella . i normally prefer the old Disney cartoons better.. I hope there will be a sequel.. Also Emma Stone played an amazing part..
