It was pretty good. I LOVED the alien cyclops near the end. Apart from that, there's always something about cut-and-paste horror movies, regardless of their time, that just tip the scale on a Horrid - Dramatic ratio. To say the least, more retarded and more gore. 'Nuff said.

Contamination is an Alien rip off...and I love this damn film. It's so over the top goofy, filled with gore (Of course I watched the uncut version), cheesy acting, cheesy special effects, and a kick-ass music score by Goblin (Who you may remember as doing the music for the 1978 version of Dawn of the Dead). Not only is the film a rip off of Alien, but it also appears to take cues from James Bond films, making for a pretty strange combo (Ever see a science-fiction film where the showdown with an alien takes place at a Colombian coffee plantation?). If you enjoy goofy, nonsensical sci-fi/horror films, Contamination is pure joy to watch - be sure to get the uncut version, though. Got to have all the gore, baby.

A B-movie Italian knock off of Alien but little more gorier though.

The movie starts with a bang with some impressive body horror and splatter that was above average fro the day. However once the initial setup passes the middle section is an excruciating with endless stilted dialogue that drags and fails to capitalize on that early good will.

A surprisingly good atmospheric and gory Alien rip off made by Starcrah's director Luigi Cozzi. Also, the Goblin score is insane.
