This is a really good documentary about 30 hours that Oliver Stone spent with Fidel in 2003. Fidel obviously has his flaws, but he makes a better dictator than Bush, and hes obviously a lot smarter.

An interesting portrait of Cuba and Castro, however stone doesn't push hard enough. A missed opportunity.

Great documentary, Oliver Stones fulfilled the part with the flair of THE intrusive journalist offered the chance of a lifetime to interview one of modern history's most intriguing figures. The man himself --Castro-- is a joy to watch and to listen to. Viva la Revolucion!!!

A very rare and revealing documentary regarding Cuba's leader being conducted by probably one of the most engagingly antagonistic directors of his time Oliver Stone. Very well done and stimulating and was one of my highlights from a very strong year at Sundance 2003.
