Certainly less splattery than, say, Silent Night, Deadly Night. This is more of a character study of a sad, lonely, put-upon man (with plenty of X-mas related issues) who one day spans and christens himself the new St. Nick. It's kinda like the Taxi Driver of crazy Santa movies.

Holy crap, worst holiday/horror film EVER! I laughed through all of the 'suspenseful' parts, and the ending was absolutely retarded.

One of the worst holiday films out there, and one helluva lame horror film. Bad everything, redeemed, however slightly, by the presence of Jeffrey DeMunn, who hams it up accordingly.

really weird flick suffers from a boring first 50 min, but the attack in front of the church is cool. And, the end is fucking strange and crazy, that it is worth seeing for that. Don't pay for it, and will be fine. Fearnet is playing ti for free, BTW.

Gave this another watch tonight as part of my Christmas anti-programming regimen, and I was rather amused by how much it grows on you when you know how strange it gets in the end. Such a bizarre ending, and it's worth the watch for the last ten minutes alone, The John Waters commentary is a lot of fun and well worth a spin if you have the chance. Worth a rental at the very least.
