I have always been a big fan of Rock's, but after about 30 minutes of watching this special I felt like it was written as an attack on white people. I have no problem with some racial jokes in a comedian's act, as long as it is not a vicious attack meant to degrade or demean. I understand it is comedy, but this was like dressing down an overweight person for an hour straight...it's not acceptable. Rock is so much better than this, and I am greatly disappointed. I guess he's not the man I thought he was, only out for the money.

The jokes here are tight and sharp -- they pierce your sensibilities while making you laugh, sometimes out of shock, sometimes out of ruefulness, and sometimes out of the rough wisdom that he's just shared.

Why do people who say they hate political correctness get so mad about the political incorrectness of this comedian? Dont they know its all a joke? Are they humorless? Can they not take a joke?

Tamborine was hard to watch, it wasn't bad per se, but it was far from enjoyable. I felt like I was being lectured and shamed for the first half. I really wanted to like it, since Bo Burnham directed it and Chris Rock was my childhood. It just wasn't funny. (4 Amy Schumers / 10)
