I specially like all the ending part, went the movie arrives to the right climate. Perfect Michelle Pfeiffer as Léa deLonval. The movie has not a clear tone in some parts, but is a great cinema treasure. All the style, decoration, costumes and the music score from Alexandre Desplat are excellent elements, so well worked, that also make that movie so enjoyable.

A elegante direção de Stephen Frears e as excelentes performances de Pfeiffer e Bates garantem um bom filme.

A nerve-wracking portrait of a relationship between a young man and older woman. Upsetting and enthralling.

I WAS gonna watch this movie, since it was from the director of dangerous liaisons. Though not as powerful and captivating as dangerous liaisons, it's a very nice movie, a very entertaining watch, while the setting and the costumes are to die for. Literally! Michelle Pfeiffer is also great in it.

A very classy movie. Witty, charming, passion, and deceptive. Michelle Pfeiffer is still stunning and beautiful as ever before! Never had I seen her play such a wonderful role! Brava Ms. Pfeiffer!
