Really glad what Mr. LaBeouf has done with his adult career. Even though Holes will always be a classic it's incredible to see him now (pretending though he wasn't in Transformers). After seeing him in a Sigur Ros experimental short film contest for one of their songs, I was shocked. After seeing this I will always hold him high in favorite actors. Lots of abstract lights, whirling shots, and sadness. A beautiful vision of all the things going well for new films.

It may not be the most well made, but 'Charlie Countryman' is easily one of the coolest cinematic experiences I've had this year. LaBeouf alone makes the movie worth watching, but the kinetic direction from newcomer Fredrik Bond is welcome. Mads Mikkelsen is never a sore sight to see either, and his presence definitely heightens the film. The magical realism aspect blends well with the backdrop of the seedy underbelly of Bucharest. It may not be an entirely great story, but it is fantastically told. 'Charlie Countryman' is a breath of fresh air, a film for film's sake, during that time of the year where we are exposed to film for academy's sake.

This movie really took me by surprise, in a very good way. Storyline - Who wrote this? Really well written, one story leading to another and again to another story with one man. Love, crime and a bit paranormal (no not paranormal activity) more like Ghost Whisperer. Great job. Effects - There were no need for special effects, everything was great just as it was. Dialogue - Actors worked well together, Evan Rachel Wood truly show her beauty in this film and her German accent was perfect, The rest of the cast presented well accept Shia LaBeouf please cut your hair ;)

I personally like this movie but I probably am bias because I adore Shia Lebeouf. He is brilliant by the way & surely, one of the best actors in this generation. I like the dream like essence of this movie, but the plot didn't give enough details to how things happened. Everything kind of happened too quickly and was more of a touch and go. But way to go Shia, I see a bright future ahead of him, and Oscars are on the way.
