Car Wash (1976)

This day-in-the-life cult comedy focuses on a group of friends working at Sully Boyar's Car Wash in the Los Angeles ghetto. The team meets dozens of eccentric customers -- including a smooth-talking preacher, a wacky cab driver and an ex-convict -- while cracking politically incorrect jokes to a constant soundtrack of disco and funk. Some of the workers find romance as the day moves along, but most are just happy to get through another shift.

The horror movie of horror movies. Whenever someone is asked to listen a popular horror movie, A great majority of them will say Halloween for a reason. It's a must see classic for all horror fans.

There may never be a cast like this again.

Could not believe they made a movie all about working at a car wash. It worked!

Halloween is a genuine masterpiece in the art of filmmaking. Don't be fooled by its lack of bloody, disgusting deaths. It relies on the real good stuff- building tension and an uneasy atmosphere to really scare you. It is arguably the best horror film ever made, and arguably John Carpenter's best work, setting the standard for the horror films of the 80s and 90s, and remaining influential and a classic to this day. Halloween is great, and there are few horror films comparable.

Great suspense, haunting score, long atmospheric tracking shots. This film paved the way for many 80s horrors and influenced many films onwards. The definitive silent serial killer slasher film. With atmospheric horror but very mild violence and no gore.
