Capsule (2016)

1959: Guy is an experienced British fighter pilot who is in command of Britain's first manned mission to space. He has trained for this for three years at the height of the Cold War and now he is alone in space, suffering Hypoxia, with a malfunctioning capsule. He has limited contact with the UK, some unusual communication with the US and some unorthodox communication with Tyuratam deep in Soviet Russia. Can he get home? Who will help him? Will he make the right choice?

I watched this 1 Million budget movie after watching the 165 Million Independence day movie, and I have to admit this movie was well done The actor did justice to the role , and the plot and movie was very acceptable Obviously we do live in time when folks love CGI , but if you are fan of acting and making connection with the actor then this movie has the it factor A amazing movie will certainly watch it again

This was a good film to watch on a quiet evening, i am surprised to see that it has received such little attention from critics. The old style engineering and design of the capsule made it very tense and claustrophobic, the problems seemed realistic and very frightening to a character who wasnt trained to control them under the assumption that they would work fine. Unlike with gravity, the presence of a single on screen character wasn't boring, the other voices heard over the radio (or wire as our 1950's friend likes to call it) keep the story going in a good way, only character that has poor dialogue would be the conversations guy (our astronaut in the capsule) remembered having with lottie (his wife). I like this a lot and would recommend it to most movie goers but with the warning that it hasnt got any where this the exciting momentum of something like interstellar or gravity, and doesnt have the humour or wit of the martian, but it does have something inbetween.

Lots of suspense and a good acting job by Edmund Kingsley in a claustrophobic space film with a few hairy twists at the end. You can really sympathize with all that the man in the capsule is going through, in real time.
