I remember kinda liking this as a kid for some reason. Now, it just seems lame and forced. Sorta like City Slickers for kids. What kinda saves the movie is Bill Conti's bizarre score. It's so stock and average that it's actually kinda brilliant. So if you want to watch Daniel Stern kill his career and listen to some cool music, this one's for you.

Daniel Stern provides a load of laughs throughout the film, while reminding kids that there is more to his character than being beaten down by one kid (Home Alone). In fact, children and nature can work hand in hand to give his characters a run for his money. (Well, that and the cops...)
