Kristoffer lives in Oslo with his friends Geir and Stig Inge. He works as a billboard installer, and in his spare time he makes a video diary with Geir and Stig, containing stunts of a Jackass-nature. When Kristoffer's girlfriend, Elisabeth, leaves him, his life seems to fall to pieces. Until his videos are featured on Norway's most popular talk show and Kristoffer becomes famous.

Loved this movie! Very funny, very touching and very wise story about friendship and facing one's fears. Note: Taking its place with "kitchen stories" (another Norwegian movie) among my favorites, "buddy" now makes Norway my personal mecca of cinematic excellence!

You know, really, this is not the typical film I would normally view. As a new Film Movement subscriber, however, I purchased this movie because it looked good. I believe it was, even if predictable. I probably liked it more because this was a Norwegian film, and not a goofy American. I rarely enjoy a love story but this one was quite good. Buddy films are usually a bore for me, but I felt envious of this crowd and wished I could be their pal as well. The acting was quite good. The pop music was fresh. And this film will be hard to rent or find anywhere.

Excellently uplifting. Each of the 3 leads have their own well-planned journey. And Stig-Inge is the boss. He's coming to visit you next.
