Criminally underappreciated, behold Scorsese's forgotten masterpiece. You need to see this fucking movie.

Classic Scorsese. Man, that guy must really love NYC! This movie is not for those who prefer step-by-step narratives. It is more surreal. Best to watch without expectations.

Great Scorsese drama about a man at his wit's end being tempted by demons, portrayed as various ambulance drivers. Also, a great character drama. Another home run for the Scorsese/Schrader team, it's just too bad most audience members think Scorsese movies need to have shoot em ups. His best recent work.

His best movie of recent times until The Departed came out. Also one of Nicholas Cage's few good performances (along with The Weather Man, Lord of War, and Matchstick Men).
