Leads Kapoor and Bhatt have an excess of charm and style that leaps off the screen and grabs your heart.

"EPIC DISSAPOINTMENT" We wanted to explore Astraverse. Instead what we witnessed was a very unnatural lovestory with lack of chemistry and emotions; cringey B grade dialogues (except AB's monologues); very bad screenplay (regularly interrupted by unnecessary romantic angle); vision less diverted direction; Lack of background story for almost every character (especially mouni Roy's and Alia Bhatt's character). Basically it is very poorly executed movie decorated by good VFX to lure the audiences.

While the narrative and the characters are derivations of several aspirations, this still feels original and new. It’s a fun watch; the only hope is that Mukerji and the team will make a cleverer and more rational entry the next time out.

The movie doesn't have a proper story to tell. VFX are below par. Everywhere you can see only lights. There are many scenes that don't make sense like an Astra getting defeated by bullets, the protagonist searching using GPS so easily but antagonist can't do the same. All big stars like SRK, AB and Nagarjuna are wasted in tiny and illogical roles. There are hints of characters to be played by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in part 2 of this movie. It seems that they will play as parents to Ranbir Kapoor. Climax too, disappoints. Dialogues are cringeworthy. Acting is average. Direction is below par. Editing is worse as the movie feels too long. So, this movie is not worth watching in theatres or ott. It can be shown to kids below age 3 as they will enjoy this kidding.
