Boston Strangler The Untold Story (2008)

Boston Strangler: The Untold Story is an intense true-crime thriller about Albert De Salvo, a wise cracking, small time criminal with an unrelenting sex drive, who ultimately falsely confesses to being the strangler that wreaked havoc in Boston during the early sixties. Guided by his manipulative cell mate, who knows more about the murders than he reveals, they devise a plan to gain all of the notoriety from the killings and the money from the reward. Meanwhile, Detective John Marsden, searches out the truth certain that they were not committed by one man. Fighting the bureaucracy of the day, Marsden lets his emotions get the best of him as he follows the trail of the murders.

Workmanlike take on The Boston Strangler that keeps you watching but offers nothing new and seems to think its main hook is enough to raise the interest levels...its not.

Interesting theory, but the specifics in this movie would make Albert the most stupid man alive. As far as the actual movie, pretty bad. Not so great acting all around. Terribly annoying fake accents. Worst of all, this movie was slow with too much talking and not enough action

I expected this to be so much better, more like Gacey or one of the other serial killers films. Just about watchable but very disappointing.

a good movie about the boston strangler murders, and albert de salvo that goes out it's way to prove that he wasent the boston strangler, and that is the closest to the truth than any of the other movies based on it was. he wasent the boston strangler, everybody knows that now, but this movie covers it well, and it is well made, there are a couple of shocking moments, but anybody expecting a bloodbath will be dissopionted, this is a movie about caracters, and its a good one, but its nothing amazing, worth a watch though
