Borderline, a film version of the novels Borderline and La Brèche, tells the story of Kiki at various stages of her life. With her mother institutionalized, she is raised by her grandmother, where left to her own devices, she takes refuge in school. Her life before 30 is a far cry from fairy-tale. Je ne sais pas si c'est le sujet ou le jeu des comÃ©diens qui m'a tuÃ©, mais j'ai assez dÃ©testÃ© dans l'ensemble.

Superbe! On embarque pleinement dans le scenario. Isabelle Blais est fantastique dans ce role. Meme dans un role quasi-muet, Sylvie Drapeau est forte et magnifique. Angele Coutu, meconnaissable, transperce l'ecran avec son personnage de Meme. Cela fait du bien de voir Pierre-Luc Brillant dans un personnage doux, sensible et vulnerable. Un film qui peut vraisembablement se rendre dans de nombreux festivals et nous representer fierement.

Shocking movie with great photography to the best style of American Beauty. A bit oversexed though, but that was just necessary for the story. Really good acting, and the always-funny quebecois accent. Really a great quality film.
