Great can't go wrong cast. Fun date night movie. Predictable plot raised up by cast. The men are just as strong as the women in acting and should be getting more press for this light, funny romcom.. IOf note is the Jane Fonda, Don Johnson pair up. Nice to see a switch on the usual Hollywood age difference!

Book Club was a delight to watch! I laughed aloud throughout the entire film, as did most of the audience. The four female stars delivered their lines with mastery and were a joy (nay, thrill!) to watch on-screen. The fellows were pure charm too. The storyline itself had many elements of Hollywood fantasy, pulled down to earth with sharp humor, which was the perfect blend. I went with my dad and suffered only minor embarrassment from the Viagra jokes, which were hardly as canned as that may sound. We both adored it. The film really showed how you gotta keep giving life your all, no matter what your age. I teared up at the end. Wish there were more fun, sweep-me-away romantic comedies like this in theaters. I'd probably go more often.
