Percy and Veronica have been housesitting at a palatial modern spread in the Hollywood Hills for the summer, but the real world of New York, jobs and young professional struggles are merely days away. Nonetheless they are in a hurry to leave this paradise, because the tranquility was broken by an unwanted visit by former college classmate Freedgood. His time since their liberal arts' years has been marked by imprisonment, shady business associations, and drug dealing. And as we learn quickly, this has lead to the man's demise, an interested LAPD detective, and a longing for the everyday strife that seems so much more desirable than staying in their false Eden.

Movie producers Ben and Orson Cummings truly know how to catch a group of people with this amazingly alluring film. Blood in the Water is a thriller that happens in the sumptuous neighborhoods of Hollywood Hills, encompassing the lives of a youthful couple, Veronica and Percy. While they are house sitting one of these excellent manors, their ex-con reticent foe Freedgood, crashes their late spring with a risky demeanor and coerces them into a world on medications, untruths and trickiness. There are some truly incredible plot turns that accompany their new criminal lives and an old love triangle, also the undeniable magnificence that accompanies a place like Los Angeles. The cinematography is amazing. What this film was able to accomplish with such a small budget is amazing. Congrats to the cast and crew.

Stylish and well shot. "Blood in the Water" can hardly be confused with great art, however, it kept me wondering how everything might end, which is saying something. I give it credit for that alone.

{The most effective|The most beneficial|The top} performer here is {Netherlands|The netherlands}, {praised for} her work as Thea {California king|Princess or queen} on Arrow. She has some strong {occasions} scattered throughout the film, but the filmmakers {seem to be} much more {considering} the {variable|way} between her boyfriend Percy and their troublemaking {close friend|buddy} Freedgood (Miguel G? mez). Neither {acting professional|professional|actor or actress} has enough charisma to make {most of us|many of us|everyone} care about their bromance, although, the script never gives them {a good} shake. Willa Holland (Veronica), Alex Russell (Percy), and Miguel Gomez (Freedgood) do an excellent job of bringing "the sexy" alive to their steamy on-screen love triangle. Set against the backdrop of the even more attractive Hollywood Hills, Blood in the Water does a great job of bringing intrigue to this story of fast money and lavish living. As the story follows these young adults, audiences are taken on an intense weekend get together of old friends. When greed and deception begin to overtake the weekend, things go awfully awry. These young, hopeful adults find themselves in a game of survival and deceit in order to get what they want. It's a captivating thriller that I definitely suggest watching.
