An amazing film. No sugar-coating, but a very real look at what some people have to experience. Blood Brother shows the heart of Rocky, who chooses to experience it with them.

Braat is clearly adored by the children. "It took some time to train my mind" to see past their disease, he admits. But he's clearly found his home.

It is definitely within one of my top 3 documentary movies. It is an emotional rollercoaster of a flick. Big-time reality check.

There will be a lot of criticism of this movie being about its lead more than the children. I find that to be a pretty shallow assessment.
