Not a bad Aussie movie. Nice susspence and just the right amount of gore. Worth watching.

Minimum budget, a few dodgy effects but a good, no messing around type of film. Very straightforward n easy 2 watch.

Add a reviewFrom the description, I figured this was going to be just another oversized killer mutant animal movie. I was pleasantly surprised at the psychological terror this film brought. "Black Water" preys on two of our utmost fears: fear of the unknown and being eaten alive. The plot is not as predictable as other films and none of the characters seem like throwaways. This crocodile is the most terrifying movie monster I've experienced... especially since it could be anywhere at any time and you have no idea where it is, nor who will be the next victim. This film is realistic almost every way that you can believe the tagline that the story's based on actual events. So if you want a good scare without the supernatural or fake monster cgi, definitely check this one out! (optional)...

Very above average killer croc flick set on the outskirts of the outback on a lonely river into a shallow and brooding dark swamp where a woman, her sister, and her boyfriend become stranded and hung up in the trees while a man-eating crocodile stalks them under the muddy swamp water. This film has so much tension in it, it's ridiculous. There are some pretty creepy and chilling moments within this film. It plays like an crocodile version of Open Water, only it doesn't suck or bore you to tears. Really good flick! Who says bad publicity doesn't work? The filmmakers were going to use a 100 foot long crocodile float to promote the movie, but it got loose and STALKED Sydney, Australia by hovering and creeping through city skyscrapers and terrifying the living shit out of people. Now THAT is hilarious!
