Good study not just on the film in question, but on the phenomenon of cult itself. Also feels like you're watching a Christopher Guest mockumentary, but with real people.

A remarkably well made documentary. This film is very funny, thoroughly enjoyable, and is guaranteed to blow away any admirer of the film's subject matter (the train wreck of a movie that is Troll 2) with its staggering look at the immense cult following of this laughably horrid film. The feelings expressed toward the film by the original cast and crew in their interviews vary considerably and are put in at just the right spots in order to ensure that the viewer never loses interest.

This almost plays like a mockumentary at times. It's funny, uncomfortable, and oddly endearing. So many strange personalities came together to make one of the worst movies ever made. This film goes through the resurgence this movie has seen due to its cult status, as well as what's become of it's strange cast of characters. The focal point is George Hardy, playing the part of the dad, who is a dentist in real life and may be the nicest man alive. It's a fascinating account, even if you haven't seen it's subject: Troll 2.
