Poignant doc about the notoriety and legacy of Troll 2, the best worst movie ever made

This film brought me so much joy. Like Not Quite Hollywood, it is a documentary about the love of movies, specifically genre movies which aren't particularly good. This is subject matter very close to my heart. George Hardy is one of the most compelling and entertaining people I've ever seen featured in a film, and his segments alone make the film worth it. It doesn't really explain why a cult has built around Troll 2, but I don't think you could explain something like that. Its a cult movie, and this movie is every bit as entertaining. Plus, its well made. While Troll 2 only appeals to a certain niche, I would wholeheartedly recommend Best Worst Movie to anyone and everyone. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't like it.

a really good doc showing the life of the cult film scene and its stars. i really enjoyed seeing how geogre hardy loved the idea of being famous then during hte road trip realized how much of a pain it really is. a must watch for fans of troll2 and fans of the cult genre in general

It's nice to see that for the most part, the cast and crew actually embrace Troll 2, yes it's a very very bad movie but in no way deserving the hyperbole of being "worst movie ever". The first half was fit after fit of laughter with a very swift, depressing turn during the last half, sadly. Those the scenes with Italian production (completely disillusioned) are just down-right hilarious and George Hardy (actually a very awesome guy) is the gem of this documentary but at times, felt tasteless, that some involved were being blatantly exploited and kinda threw off afterward. Despite that, it was a honest, funny, sad and endearing look at this cult phenomenon.
