The need to fit a story around toys makes for a pretty random story that shoves in as many characters and gadgets as possible. There's nothing bad here, merely adequate, with too much action and the barest of detective stories. There's a nice little subplot about the relationship between Nightwing and the Flash, but little else to make this worthwhile.

The only thing they got right was Green Arrow, the Flash was inept and Batman poorly characterized.

While this is aimed at a slightly younger crowd than most of DC's Animated Features are, I still found some enjoyment in it. It has it's issues, but it is not horrible.
