LÃ¤mminhenkinen, mutta hieman liikaa "Jalla Jalla" leffaa kopioiva ruotsalainen perhekomedia/draama. Yksi tÃ¤hti pelkÃ¤stÃ¤Ã¤n salaattikohtauksen ansiosta...

This is a wonderful movie that never hit a false note for me. It is laugh out loud hilarious at times (including the funniest scene about making a salad that you'll ever see on the screen), but also very touching, and I for one had a few tears in my eye at the end of the film. The character of Aziz, played sympathetically by Jan Fares, had certain ideas that were often naive, and he didn't always understand Swedish society or social convention, but he was absolutely not a buffoon, and his heart was always in the right place. I also liked the relationship between his son and daughter-in-law, as well as the side stories involving Aziz's two co-workers. Highly recommended.

A bitter-sweet comedy, but most of all bitter, full of unoriginal materiall. Torkel Petersson makes me puke. The only thing I loved about this movie was Jan Fares preformance.

Love this movie!! Second time watching it. The first time was in 2010 at the Doha TriBeCa Film Festival (DTFF). Farsan (Balls) is a nuanced look at masculinity. Brilliant stuff!!
