what can i say? i am a sucker for these films. first, this is set in the tokugawa period. second, it is about samurais, ninjas and assasinations! third, it has a kick-ass female lead. oh, and plenty of killing for all you bloodbath fans. now, on to azumi 2!

The fighting scenes are well choreographed, but it seems a little set up. Still has a great story and alot of blood.
