I think if you get through the entirety of the brilliantly captivating Turkish film, "Ayla: The Daughter of War" without shedding a single tear, you likely don't have a pulse. The opening scene sets the tone of the film well and I found myself invested in the story throughout. The movie is irresistibly sweet and feels like a healthy dose of multiple genres. It's intense, sweet, funny, and heartfelt all blended together. The movie balances these clashing tones very well and flows at a fantastic pace. The actors are all excellent and all are convincing in the more emotional moments. This is one of those foreign films that excites me to seek out what else is out there from other countries. It's an excellent movie with an unbelievable true story that is sure to tug at anyone's heartstrings by the time the credits roll around.

I watched this great movie at Boulder international film festival. Literally , everybody left in tears. A great , real story , very touchy and very passionate. Strongly recommended

Ayla: The Daughter of War All is fair in love & war... Even at war; the sense of human value reflects, Winsomeness has its effect, we all need love ... despite that I am responsible for every child either mine or not, they ought to be safe and happy... Love is beyond language & nationalism... the world needs love

Amazing, heartwarming , incredible, touchy true story. This movie is so inspirational and motivating. Story, acting, cinematography, everything is so beautiful! It is must see!!!
