definitely not a pleasant movie to watch.

Quite an unusual film. Interesting as no one is purely good or evil in it. The artistic direction enhanced the story, but sometimes I found it a bit pretentious.

With it's downbeat theme and disagreeable characters, Ho Yuhang's At The End Of Daybreak is not an easy film to digest. But at the same time, it's the flaws that make the characters human, and as we recognize their selfishness, mendacity and cowardice as our own, At The End Of Daybreak hits home on a truly visceral level. The cast, with ex-Shaw Brothers nymphette Kara Hui in the lead, is a genuinely powerful source for director Ho to tap into.

The best actress award in HK is not cheating. But the lifestyle of Malay is little bit different from expected.

Can understand what the film makers were trying to achieve. But how on earth did this movie win any awards?
