Brilliant... although I was brainwashed since my sister watched it several hundred times during the 80's. Great characters and a classic 70's music soundtrack from 10cc's Graham Gouldman to go with it. Still not available on DVD but you can watch the whole movie on YouTube.

Such a funny movie and a great sport spoof production! I have seen that so often when I was a kid and nowadays it will be part of my M.A. thesis. Great, he?! And some people say that TV can not influence people in a positive way ;-)

I absolutely loved this movie as a child growing up in the 80's. They always seemed to play this near the closing ceremonies of the Olympics. What really stuck with me, were the songs. Some of them were just classic 'singalong' material. Why haven't they released this on DVD yet, I'd have no idea, but once they do, I'll get myself a copy of it ASAP.
