While this seems an impossibly bleak topic, "Animals" takes it up with subtlety, imagination and conviction.

This is some of the worst acting I've ever seen. Both main characters do not even come across as real drug addicts. It's all forceful fake acting....not even close to being real. Some parts of the story were okay, however, I found this movie to be a waste of time.
