Definitely one of my favorite movies of 2010 that can be easily compared to the greatest gangster movies ever made. David Michod seemed to make everything flow precisely and the characters were dead on. My hat goes off to Weaver, the matriarch of the family.

Très bon. Super efficace, bien filmé, jeu des comédiens (mère en particulier) intéressant. Super tense, well constructed movie. The actress playing the mother is amazing.

A fantastically tense Aussie crime drama that (appropriately) sinks its teeth into you with no intention of letting go. Much of the credit belongs to writer/director David Michôd whose intense, spare script and sure handling of the story make him someone to keep an eye out for in the future. In addition, the actors all fare very well, with Joel Edgerton, Ben Mendelsohn, and Jacki Weaver turning in stand out performances. Also of note is the movie's great, moody soundtrack. In my opinion, it's a crime that this film wasn't nominated for the Best Picture Oscar. In a field of 10 films, it certainly deserved the recognition. Easily one of the best of 2010.

Fairly one of the best movies done last year. Brilliant in every single level.
