Gilda has long since moved to a small southern island and earns her living as a prostitute in a context suspended between retrograde traditions and modernity. During one summer, his destiny intersects with that of Olivia and Crocetta, two women from the area, the former a happy wife and the latter an ugly, unlucky wife. una commedia leggera che mi è piaciuta da pazzi..già dalla prima scena, con la processione del santo patrono locale emergono tutti i caratteri della sicilia più antica e tradizionalista, caratteri che vengono visti con garbato e sottile umorismo e che portati all'estremo fanno tremare la pancia dal ridere..3 attrici straordinarie, gerini, impacciatore e capotondi, la ragazza facile. la jettatrice e l'ingenua, con ovvi caratteri e com-portamenti diversi che divengono amiche loro magrado perchè coinvolte in un crimine che cercano in ogni modo di nascondere al sospettoso poliziotto di turno..ma nn si può nn amarle come anche i ritratti delle donne di paese..gioiello assoluto!!.. ^_^
