a great story of the life and hardships of the who. I love how they would focus on one thing at a time, and how they separatly did the john, keith, pete and roger and asked many people from newer bands like pearl jam to give what they remember from the who.

I love The Who and it did a good job of the years leading up to the death of John Entwhistle. Gave me a new appreciation of how amazing Keith Moon was. Some good extras. The early footage of The Who when tAhey were being followed touring in England was interesting.

I have seen this on FOXTEL in Oz and it's ...a great insight into the personal and maturing musical struggles and emotional demons that have troubled this tight-knit band of musical souls ...from 'our generation'! :-) The documentary puts a solid focus on Keith Moon's and John Entwhistle's founding contributions ...that still endure despite the passing of ...so many years. That fact that The Who is still touring is a great legacy to their fire ...mixed with Pete & Roger's talent and showmanship. :-R

The hype might have destroyed this for me. The build up to this documentary made it seem like it would be another TKAA, howevere, it is a pretty basic, if not well constructed, documentary. The new who content supposedly compliled was missing or in small snippets. This is great for a casual fan that wants to know more about the band. But if you want the Who doing what they do best, pick up TKAA.
