Surprisingly effective B-movie that probably succeeded it's own expectations. Without any memorable performances or without some serious originality, it still delivered with the fun and suspense you kind of expected after reading just the title Alien Raiders. If anyone wants to give a shot at some movies behind the curtains, and not be too judging about 'em, then check this movie out and have fun with it.

Saw the Advanced Peek at FANTASTICFEST 08 and this movie is fun. Aliens possess humans and a team of rogue scientists hold a Hastings hostage until the alien hosts are eliminated. Fast-pacing, decent tension and huge violence follow. This is not a life-changing picture; just a good old fashioned sci-fi violence-laden epic.

Decent horror/sci-fi flick done on a low budget. Well written and performed, the movie holds the viewer interest with plenty of suspense, chills and gore. Reminded me a bit of "The Thing" with a setting very similar to that of "The Mist". A little twist in the final scene that I had guessed 20 mintues into the film; otherwise a noteworthy effort!

A fairly ok thriller released directly for DVD.A bit predictable,but yet suspenceful.The best thing about the movie was the effects of the alien. Instead of using CGI (computer generated images) they used make-up effects and dark sets to keep up the suspence and let the viewer conjure images in their heads on what these aliens look like. The motto is "see less,imagine more".It's the same approach that has been used in great movies like Alien.Another movie that comes to mind here is The Thing.A bunch of people in a confined space,where some of the people are infected by the alien...but who? Alien Raiders dosen't bring anything new to the thriller / sci-fi / horror genre,but it's an ok watch if you're into these kinda movies.
