I went into this with an open mind, as I do with every new-to-me comedian. This was a pregnant woman telling pregnant jokes for an hour. Oh, and don't forget all the poop jokes. She's like Amy Schumer, but worse. Poop jokes - check Being a slut - check Hating more priveledged women - check Pandering to liberals - check Talking about money over, and over - check Consensus: Should have just rewatched Sharknado instead.

Motherhood itself isn't a political act, but the various ways facets of society rise up to tell women how to be a mother are, certainly. The beauty of Hard Knock Wife is in hearing these gnarlier truths explored with filthy and honest verve.

This is a pretty funny comedy special. I laughed my ass off quite a few times. Plus, you can tell how smart this woman is. And that is VERY. I haven't seen Baby Cobra but I definitely plan to now. My only complaints are a few material things, for instance she does have a strange cadence to her voice, but that is easily overlooked. Also, this made me horrified to be a mother.
