In the midst of all the chaos of war, how people chose to live and how they survived emotionally is conveyed well and without the usual cliches.

thought this movie was great a well acted heart-breaking movie

While tragic, this is a beautifully told true story set in Berlin in WWII. The acting is extraordinary here and the soundtrack is charmingly haunting. Overall this makes for a fantastic 5 star love epic.
