I was really impressed. I thought this movie was really scary and suspenseful! I loved the characters and thought the acting was really well done, not really over the top but very real and natural! Very impressed! I think they did found footage the right way and I look forward to the sequel!?!

Absence is another entry into the found footage genre notable only for what it's missing - a cohesive narrative and a reason to care

There's nothing here the best entries in V/H/S didn't do better in 10 minutes or less, and with the decency to kill off their unbearable protagonists much faster.
