If not entirely successful, at least ambitious and, for a long while, even brave.

I really enjoyed this movie. It moves at a slower pace then most movies do today. Its not cut like a music video. It matches the time and space these two charachter's live. The charachters come off as bizarre or socially inept sometimes, but I found them to be endearing. I was really impressed by Guy Pearce and Lili Taylor.

Goes down a well-traveled road that leaves Drumstrings neutered and Evie with a forehead that, like her character, heals all too cleanly.

Cute story, but poor execution... I think something was missing in the script. It was just not as touching and meaningful as I thought it would be. It was very flat. Guy Pearce looks hot though and his voice is amazing... I will buy the soundtrack for this movie because that was the only thing that is great about the movie.

An underwhelming misfire of muddled tone and equally unclear emotion.
