Lifeless, dull and forgettable. You would expect at 86 minutes a movie would breeze past, but even at such a short running time it feels over-long and a chore to watch.

Tight little crime drama that benefits mightily from Edward G. Robinson's customary great performance. Well paced with Raft less wooden than usual and Audrey Totter a very welcome presence although underused.

Minor but quite good film-noir, anything Edward G. Robinson is in is decent, and he is good here. Short, rapid pace, good story. Nothing out of the ordinary but it is quite watchable.
