A group of paranormal investigators enter the abandoned home of paedophile and serial killer John Gacy, hoping to find evidence of paranormal activity. Upon entering the house they set-up cameras throughout the abandoned house while going room to room with hand-held cameras, performing séance's and asking for John Gacy to come forward. As the evening progresses it seems the investigators are not prepared for the horror still within the house.

terrible. gacys house was destroyed, and i doubt theyre even filming in the one rebuilt on the land. FAIL

The "found footage" genre has always been enticing to me so I figured I would give it a shot. Perhaps I was a bit optimistic. The beginning of the movie states that they are investigating the house that was built on site of the Gacy home 3 years after the original home was demolished. That would mean the home was built somewhere around 1982, yet it appeared the movie was shot in an 1880's italianate. After this thought was in my mind I probably became more critical than I needed to be. This movie was highly predictable and very boring.

This could of been so much better, the story seems pretty interesting, but the horrible acting, and jumpy camera angles make this mockbuster of Paranormal Activity not even worth your time.

I was very surprised that this movie far exceeded my expectations. It came up on my netflix, I have always been interested in these types of movies so gave it a shot. Very entertaining, very interesting, well made movie.
