I for one loved this movie, it took an ancient story and did'n't glamorize it in any way. They told it in the best way they could for the modern age. The acting was solemn because the story is. Some of these reviewers suggested it would be somehow better if it had a bit more humor in it, this would have made the film just plain and simply stupid. 47 Ronin is a serious film! Why would any humor be involved? The CGI was excellent and breathtaking. Keanu Reeves did an excellent job. I never persecute people for their opinions, if this isn't for you then fair enough but slagging the movie and its actors off is just ridiculous. In short i for one loved every second of 47 Ronin.

47 Ronin is only one dimensional, because the critics thinking is one dimensional, and they are totally unqualified to comment on something they do not understand. If you have some understanding of Bushido, you most likely will like it. Keanu Reeves gives us a performance that is worthy of Bushido.
