Keanu Reeves in ancient Japan?! Sounds like a really dumb idea. Actually, this motion picture is much more than you may expect. Surprisingly highly entertaining.

i couldn't believe all these bad reviews i absolutely loved this movie, sticks to the traditional charm yet adds a beautiful modern touch. If you love classic kung fu type movies this is for you

Love Keanu :) From Bill & Ted to 47 Ronin....... Why all the negatives??? Movie was interesting as well as historical yet with a twist. I felt it was. Good movie :) Love ya Keanu

Could be worse. Still very entertaining. Honestly, this film definitely had me through the first half, but really lost me towards the end, when things get really weird. The ending itself seems good, but also kind of self-defeating at the same time.
