This is a good movie with high tension and really good effects. I must say I was yelling at the tv when Nelson went to get the equipment.

If it wasn't for actor Patrick Laborteaux, this film would have received a drop of a star (1/64th of a teaspoon). Love 'Lt. Comdr. Bud Roberts', he's great. But the movie writing should have been on SyFy or some made for TV channel, not for theaters nor rental!

Plot was amazing, but the actors were even better. Totally realistic, even makes me a little worried for this coming 2012. And what about that glacier? That thing was huge! I would advise everyone to see it. All around, great movie!

This was definitely a B-movie, and if you're into that, then this is an excellent "there's nothing good to watch" flick for a Saturday night. Predictable plot, mediocre script, lots of inconsistencies. But I'd say the inconsistencies are what made the movie awesome. At one point, it's 3pm and pitch black outside (they explain why), then they go inside a house, come out, and it's bright and sunny. Pretty much the whole thing makes very little sense, and playing "spot the 'what?!?' moments" is a lot of fun. Relax, and enjoy a great cheesy movie. Here's one to spot: why do they all start smiling and laughing about the potato chips? Watch for it.

Wonderful in its badness - some might say, this is another mockbusters from Asylum, so now you are warned. From the movie poster you're to expect a mix of 'The day after tomorrow' and '2012'. From an Asylum production you are getting the usual - a ridiculous plot, hilariously awful dialogue and the actors are horrible, cheap and very bad CGI special effects. Personally I am a huge fan of disaster movies, but with today technology I'm expecting a whole lot more than this. One positive thing to say about this is the movie poster. Some movies are bad in a way that it becomes funny to watch, but this one is just bad. Don't waste your time on this.
