Con todo esos efectos sobrecargados a 2012, es muy dificil de captar esa escencia, ademas Roland exagero en el guion porque el 2012 no es un fin del mundo sino un cambio de era, no es de la mejores es absurda.

Awesome special effects in this movie and Joh Cusack does brilliantly in it. Recommended viewing although if your a story freak, don't bother.

This is my favorite of Roland Emmerich's films, and one of my favorite movies of all time. It was emotionally resonant, the dialogue was very good, the characters were identifiable, it was paced perfectly, the build up was unbelievably tense, and there was some biting social commentary. I had the option of either seeing this or Disney's A Christmas Carol in the theater when I was 10, and I am so grateful that I chose this movie. It was one of the greatest theatrical experiences I had ever had. The Day After Tomorrow, you've got another thing coming. 2012 is the greatest disaster movie ever.
